I know seems early, but the Halloween festivities have begun in the Magic Kingdom. My family will be attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this Friday 9/1, and my kids’ goal is to collect candy at the Trick-Or-Treat stations. Guess how many pounds of candy our family will collect & post your guess in the comments on my Facebook page.
The person with the closest guess, without going over, will win this 2017 limited edition, Walt Disney World Halloween bag. Perfect for your own trick-or-treating this year.
To avoid a tie, you cannot guess the same number as someone else that has already posted; be sure & get your guess in early. You can change your guess as long as another person has not already guessed that number.
HINT: Watch on Friday night for my Facebook live post at the party, & we will hold up our bags of candy for you to see. 😉
WINNER: The winner will be announced on Tuesday evening at 5:00pm during my Facebook live post. Good luck everyone and have fun playing!

Halloween is possibly my favorite time of year to visit Disney World and Disneyland. It offers such bright, fall decor, perfect temperatures, low crowds and great prices. The Halloween parties are special ticketed event that take place in the Magic Kingdom as well as Disneyland Park and also require an extra ticket. In my opinion they are worth the cost to me since the Halloween parties are my favorite event to attend. Who can resist the special characters, parades, shows and of course the candy, candy, candy….
Although Disney World lays claim to most of the special shots offered by Photopass at the Halloween parties this year. Both Disney World and Disneyland have Photopass opportunities available that are unique only to the Halloween parties.
Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World offers the, ever popular, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that begins in September and ends on November 1st this year. Ticket prices start at $68 per ticket for this Halloween celebration.
During this fall celebration you will be able to get special photos with Disney characters decked out in their Halloween best. You also will have access to select Magic Shots and even Animated Magic Shots. Don’t forget that you will need to purchase a Memory Maker entitlement to get all of your Photopass photos from your stay. Click HERE for information on Memory Maker.
Have you seen the new Animated Magic Shots offered in Disney World? Below are examples of both Animated and regular Magic Shots offered during this year’s Halloween Party in Disney World.
Disneyland offers a similar Halloween party by a different name, Mickey’s Halloween Party that begins in September and ends on Halloween this year. Ticket prices start at $69 per ticket for Disneyland’s Halloween celebration.
Although Disneyland may not offer quite as many Magic Shots and they do not offer Animated Magic Shots at all, they do offer some unique attractions that you can only find at the Disneyland Halloween Party. The Haunted Mansion has takes on a whole new, Nightmare Before Christmas Theme and Space Mountain becomes Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. These attractions will be available during the day as well as during Halloween and the amazing affects are not to be missed. Trust me, I speak from person experience.
As for the special Photopass shots offered during Disneyland’s Halloween Party you will be able to get the apple/cauldron Magic Shot and a Zero Magic Shot as well.
In order to get access to all of your Photopass shots in Disneyland, be sure to purchase their Photopass package. When you Pre-Purchase Photopass before your trip, you will be able to get a discount.
