WDW Dessert Parties now Available for Holiday Party Nights

yIf you are planning to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this fall for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party during the holiday season, you might want to add a reservation for a dessert party.  In order to participate in the dessert party you must already have tickets to the holiday party that night.

During Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party guests can indulge in spooky treats starting with a glass of sparkling cider and moving on through a delicious buffet of treats such as chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate mousse, ice cream, cupcakes, seasonal fruit, cheeses and more.  Various non-alcoholic drinks will also be served.  End the party with perfect views of the Cinderella Castle for the Happy-Hallowishes fireworks show.  Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Dessert Party Takes Place select nights from Aug. 29 – Nov. 7 2017.

For an extra bit of festive entertainment during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, make a reservation for the dessert party where you will enjoy tables decked with boughs of holly & enjoy delectable, holiday themed desserts that are similar in taste to what is offered at the Halloween Party.  When you have had your fill of sweet treats, sit back & relax with front row seats for the holiday fireworks.  Reservations are available on select nights from Nov. 9 – Dec. 22, 2017.

These parties are one way that you can get amazing views of Cinderella’s Castle & the holiday fireworks shows without having to claim your spot hours in advance.  The parties take place on the Tomorrowland Terrace and the cost is $79 + tax for adults; $47 + tax for children ages 3 – 9.  You must have a valid ticket to the holiday party on the night that you plan to attend the dessert event.

Epic fireworks and projection show, live onstage entertainment and Stormtrooper marches will soon be arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Following the extraordinary popularity of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Walt Disney World® Resort is unveiling even more Star Wars-themed entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting this spring – including one of the most elaborate fireworks and projection shows in the park’s history.

Just in time for spring, that “galaxy far, far away’’ will be closer than ever with the April 4, 2016 arrival of the new Star Wars live entertainment experience Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away. This new stage show celebrates iconic moments from the Star Wars saga with live vignettes featuring popular Star Wars characters, such as Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Darth Maul. The show will take place multiple times each day at the Center Stage area near The Great Movie Ride.

Also starting April 4th, Captain Phasma will lead a squad of First Order stormtroopers as they march in formation from Star Wars Launch Bay to the Center Stage area in an intimidating demonstration of the First Order’s indomitable strength.

And, starting this summer, Guests won’t want to miss the next generation of the current Star Wars-inspired fireworks show. This blockbuster nightly show, unprecedented in Disney’s Hollywood Studios history, will light up the sky with Star Wars-themed fireworks, lasers, light projections and other special effects combined with Star Wars-themed music, iconic characters and scenes from throughout the saga.

These new Star Wars entertainment elements, coupled with other recently-added Star Wars experiences, make Disney’s Hollywood Studios the place for fans to celebrate their Star Wars passion.

New! FerryTale Wishes. A Walt Disney World Fireworks Dessert Cruise.

What could be better than fireworks and Dessert at Walt Disney World? This new offering would be the perfect way to spend your arrival night at Walt Disney World Resort, especially if you do not have park tickets for that day.

You will soon be able to set sail for “Ferrytale Wishes” – an exclusive dessert party and unique fireworks viewing experience on Seven Seas Lagoon. As you sail aboard one of the iconic double stack ferryboats, you will enjoy decadent desserts, specialty beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a one-of-a-kind perspective of the famous Wishes nighttime spectacular above Magic Kingdom® Park.

The menu includes a variety of desserts, a fruit and cheese display and ice cream novelties. Guests will also receive a souvenir acrylic palette plate and glow glass once onboard.

Ferrytale Wishes will first set sail on Oct. 5, 2015 with additional sailings offered on select dates. Guests may view the Happy HalloWishes or Holiday Wishes Nighttime Spectacular if sailing on an event party night. Reservation times are 1 hour prior to fireworks, and Guests must check-in at the Ferryboat launch at the Transportation and Ticket Center at least 50 minutes prior to fireworks to ensure they are on the ferryboat before it sails.

The cost is $99 per adult, $69 per child age 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included). Package availability is limited. Bookings are now open for Ferrytale Wishes. Advance reservations are recommended.

Beginning July 5, 2015, you can enjoy the newly enhanced Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party in Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® Resort.

With an unforgettable view of Wishes fireworks over Cinderella Castle, this exclusive experience allows you to relax in a reserved seating area at Tomorrowland Terrace as you indulge in decadent desserts and beverages.
